Modern Hero Archetype: The Institutional Escape Artist

For my Brands and Culture course, I was asked to define the modern hero archetype, as evidenced by the recurrence of an archetype appearing again and again in media. Inspired by Barbie of the 2023 Barbie Movie, I created "The Institutional Escape Artist" -- a powerful figure that exposes the contradictions of the system in which they live.
